SOVE THE SECOND is jumping on the spaghetti western cowboy bandwagon, but is giving it a cinematic and romantic twist. The new single shares the chorus of the classic western tune, "Cowpoke ". However, rather than telling the story of a simple-living and wandering man on the range, "Heartbroke Cowpoke" recalls the cliche and melodrama experienced after a breakup–that even the toughest cowboys must brave through.
Although seemingly spent in a hopeless, wallowing, and self-pitying state, the finale makes a redemption with perseverance, acceptance, and optimism that’s accompanied by vast, orchestral strings and booming piano chords.
